History

In the beginning there was only one soul. ‘it’ created a world for himself to live in. but soon after that ‘it’ became lonely. Using its own blood, two beings just like ‘it were created’, but to keep them apart ‘it’ gave them a pair of white wings. One was “male” and one was “female”, both were like the other and yet different from each other. The female liked to hide her wings, while the male loved to spread them out and fly through their home. They lived together for a long time alone, ‘it’ teaching them how it created new life.
One day the female suggested to her creator to create new life, different from what she and her parallel pair was. ‘it’ agreed and created the first humans. The humans had the same appearance as the female and male. But ‘it’ wanted to keep his two precious friends unique and did not give the humans the ability to fly. Each and every human was unique in a different way and ‘it’ loved them very much. ‘it’ gave the humans their own world to live in, since he didn’t want his precious friends to wander around the humans. ‘it’ had made a mistake while “forming” the humans. Some were greedy, some got angry to fast, some were brutal. Because of that, ‘it’ forbid his first creations to leave their home, but they were allowed to watch over the humans.
Soon the male and the female became more and more interested in the creatures which looked so much like themselves. They told their creator they wished to know more about them. So ‘it’ made a promise with them. Every generation one of them would be born as a human in the other world, letting them have a whole human lifetime, to study and learn from the humans. And ‘it’ gave them both names, a name that would forever be a part of them, no matter what human name they would receive. The male was named “Raiga” and the female “Atima” and both of them agreed to take on these names and started to call their creator “Master”.

Atima and Raiga would watch over the humans, protecting them from any evil. Yet they needed help after a long period. Their Master had become fond of creating new worlds and they just couldn’t deal with all of them on their own. After lots of discussions they decided to turn one human soul into the same being as Raiga and Atima. This is how Kaiko joined the group, and as an extra help, the Master created two creatures, which were able to switch between two forms, Zerberos and Kerberos. The two winged dogs and Kaiko were a good choice and helped out where they could.

Around the time where mankind started to count the years, the three white winged creatures were acknowledged buy humans under the word “Angel”. The humans believed they were messengers from their god. The humans started to pray to their god, hoping their wishes and desires would be heard by him and granted. Little that they knew their prayers never reached their creator himself, only his first creations, Atima and Raiga. The two were able to hear the strongest thoughts and gladly forwarded them to their Master.

A few hundred years later two more humans were raised into the rank of an angel. Their names: Zen and Sayuri. The Master now gave each and every one of them a specialised field they would work in.
Atima became the “portal guardian”, because by this time the Master had created 12 different worlds that had to be connected and protected over. She made sure no one was able to interfere with another world.
Raiga became known by the name “Grimm reaper”. He was in charge that all souls of the living were gathered after the death of the mortal body.
Sayuri became the “guardian of nature”. With her powers she is able to make plants grow and control the weather to help them bloom.
Zen received the job to control and watch over time and earned the name “guardian of time”.
Kaiko on the other hand did not ask for a particular job or title. He helped out where he could together with Kerberos and Zeberos, who were originally ordered to control the gathering of the souls.

Each and every one of them was born as a human every 100 years. Due to some complication, Atima once was born by accident in the body of a female demon. The master although, did not “correct” the situation and wanted to see what effect the demonic body would have on Atima. There were no problems and she lived for about 300 years in the demonic body, going by the name Inutai. The only problem that appeared was when the demonic body died. The original soul of Atima was not able to arrive in her actual world. So the Master cut the soul in half, once inhering the demonic features, Inutai and the other half the angelic, Atima. The only side effect was, Atima lost almost all her memories after splitting her soul in half.
Inutai was after that granted permission to work together with the angels. No demon was allowed to live in their world, so they had to put Inutai in charge of the place humans and living demons called “hell”. She would watch over all the souls in it and make sure none of them could escape.

A few hundred years later, the last member of the group joined. While Atima was walking through the passages that connected the different worlds together she noticed a lost soul wandering around. For some reason the soul was not able to reach the place humans called “afterlife”, so Atima used an old magic to give the soul a body. The spell was though too strong for Atima and she fell into a coma for a week. During that time she was watched over by the soul she had given a body. The boy who was created had no memory of his past life and didn’t speak a word. After Atimas recovery she brought him to her Master and asked him to let the boy live and work with the other angels. The Master agreed and they gave the boy the name Nanashi.
Nanashi, after he was taught how to speak and use his angelic powers, was commanded to work in the life-library, where he would watch over every living human in every world, receiving the title “guardian of life”.
